Introduction Grinding Machine Parts
Silicon carbide ceramic wear-resistant cyclone is a common separation and classification equipment with the principle of centrifugal sedimentation. It is well known as one of the grinding machine parts.
The basic principle of silicon carbide ceramic cyclone is to separate liquid-liquid, liquid-solid, liquid-gas and other two-phase or multi-phase mixtures with a certain density difference under the action of centrifugal force. Input the mixture tangentially directed into the cyclone at a certain pressure to creating a high-speed swirling flow field in the cylindrical cavity. The denser components of the mixture move in the axial direction downwards under the effect of the swirling flow field, move radially outwards and move down the cone wall along the wall of the funnel, then discharged from the underflow port. This is called the external vortex flow field. The components with small density move toward the central axis and form an upward vortex within the center of the axis, then it is discharged from the overflow port, thus achieving the purpose of two-phase separation.
Characteristics Grinding Machine Parts
The material feeding method of the silicon carbide ceramic wear-resistant cyclone is to uniformly discharge the materials in the silo onto the belt conveyor to form an appropriate thickness and width of the material layer. The following are three common feeding methods for silicon carbide cyclones:
- Simple feeding method. It is to mix the material with the suspension and pump it into the cyclone. However, during the feeding process, the material may be crushed. And the wear of the equipment will be increased. Although the height of the plant can be reduced, it is still not that acceptable.
- Extensive feeding method, also called a low-pressure feed cyclone. With constant-pressure tank feeding, the material and the suspension are mixed in the constant-pressure tank and enter the cyclone by their own weight.
- Advanced feeding method, also known as pressureless cyclone. That is, the suspension is fed into the lower part of the drum swirler in a tangential direction, and the material is fed from the top of the drum by its own weight.
Because the shape of the inlet port of the silicon carbide cyclone has a variety of forms, the general requirement should consider that the slurry enters the cyclone in a tangential direction, the resistance is small, and it is easy to manufacture.
