- High hardness, reaction-bonded silicon carbide is one of the hardest high-performance materials next to diamond.
- High strength and excellent crossbow and fracture resistance performance.
- Light weight,the specific gravity of sic ceramic bushing is less than half of metal alloys,it is 40% of steel, roughly the same as aluminum.
- Denseness,the theoretical density of reaction bonded silicon carbide shaped parts is 98% of 3.21 g/cm2, and the minimum density is 3.0 g/cm3.
- Corrosion, oxidation and erosion resistance,the high density, low porosity and chemical inertness of SiC sintered silicon carbide shaped parts make it possible to operate in hot gas and liquid environments, oxidizing and corrosive atmospheres, as well as in strong acids and bases under high temperature.
- Wear resistance,the ultra-high hardness and density of the sic ceramic bushing make it ideal for some special parts,such like some parts that easily subject to high wear and sliding wear.
