- Keep it dry and clean. Need to be heated to 500℃ slowly before using.
- Put materials into the silicon carbide melting crucible according to its cubage, keep proper space to avoid broken from thermal expansion.
- Try to use a spoon to take out the metallic solution, or choose a same shaped calliper which can protect the crucible damaged from local pressure difference.
- Avoid the strong oxidized fire burning directly onto the crucible. It will shorten the using time because of the material oxidation.
- Do not place the heated silicon carbide melting crucible on a cold metal or a wooden surface immediately. A sudden cold will lead to cracks or break and a wooden surface may cause a fire. Please leave it on a refractory brick or plate and let it cool down naturally.
