Introduction Silicon Carbide Refractory Bricks
Silicon carbide refractory bricks have high thermal conductivity and good wear resistance, thermal shock resistance and corrosion resistance. Therefore, it is widely used in the industrial range.
SiC brick can be used for metallurgical steel cylinder liner, nozzle, plug, blast furnace bottom and belly, heating furnace without cold slide; non-ferrous metal smelting distiller, distillation tower tray, electrolytic tank side wall, smelting metal crucible ; slabs and flame insulation materials for silicate industrial furnaces; oil and gas generators and organic waste combustion furnaces in the chemical industry; aluminum electrolysis tank linings for high-tech ceramics, fused aluminum pipes and ceramic kiln kiln furniture, large medium-sized blast furnace bottom, furnace waist and belly, aluminum refining furnace lining, zinc distillation tank lining, etc.
Characteristics Silicon Carbide Refractory Bricks
When producing silicon carbide refractory bricks, the ratio of coarse, medium and fine SiC should be 5:1:4. The raw materials are generally selected as black SiC, the chemical composition is as follows: SiC98.0%, free C0.5%, FE0.2%, Free SiO 20.6%. Due to the different bonding methods, the process is also different.
Silicon carbide materials can also be made into high temperature radiation energy-saving coatings. It can withstand high temperature up to 1650℃, can be applied by brush or spray on the inner wall of high temperature industrial furnace kiln (such as the inner wall of the vertical tank zinc smelting furnace combustion chamber and the inner wall of the tower zinc rectification furnace combustion chamber). The blackness of the inner wall surface is increased to be close to the blackness of the silicon carbide (c ≥ 0.9), thereby increasing the radiant heat absorbed by the inner wall of the lining and the ability to radiate heat to a heated workpiece, (such as the vertical tank wall and the outer wall of the zinc rectification tray) ,to save energy and increase the rate of heat transfer in the furnace.
